Topic: Self Discipline n’ Schedule

Merry meet and mossy greets!

Finding the balance between social media work and mixed media work is a personal challenge I’ve been embracing this past month. Creating a schedule and staying self disciplined has been a journey with pretty great success so far! Even days when I’m not feeling the best, I set a smaller, more manageable goal and still get the gratification of completing a piece of the bigger picture.

Last week I took a week off from blogging to get a monthly schedule roughly worked out. With that, I’ll be able to balance social media content creation and mixed media jewelry creation. For the most part, content creators make throwing up a reel on instagram seem incredibly effortless and fun. For me, there’s a lot of background forethought (such as how I’m going to look/present jewelry), the physical setup, photo/video editing, saving, uploading, and descriptions. Each is a step I’m learning I need to set aside dedicated time for, and that’s why creating a rough schedule has been a beneficial stepping stone.

While I work on the fine details of self employment and online entrepreneurship, I appreciate the time you’ve taken out of your day to read my blogs, scroll through the on-line store, and your patience as new ideas are sprouting daily.
